19th September 2009:
Gargs' 90th Birthday

In early September we travelled back to Wallasey for a weekend to celebrate the 90th birthday of Rachel's Grandmother (a.k.a. "Gargs").
To the amusement of all, the grandchildren plotted to create a mock-up of the day's paper...
"Chris Bowes: I owe it all to my mother"
A montage birthday card, photos from 90 years.
Another amazing cake from Al's mum with sugar flowers.
Demonstrating the world-renowned lace-tying technique which Gargs has shared with lucky individuals.
The following day at Claremount Church, celebrating again with friends.
And a final relaxing Sunday afternoon in the Wallasey sunshine before heading back to Italy.
Rachel struggles to get to grips with the hammock and ends up on the floor!
