14th September 2008:
Italian Grand Prix, Monza

Monza isn't too far from us, so we made the most and drove over for the day of the Grand Prix. The main feature of the 2008 Italian Grand Prix was that it was a wet race. In fact, it rained all morning and stopped during the race. Having arrived early, we had about 8 hours to wait for the rain to stop!
The GP2 support race, and the only British guy managed to crash out in front of us.
It was a dramatic race, won convincingly by complete outsider Vettel in the Toro Rosso. Hamilton overtook lots of people, including Raikkonen, right in front of us, which promptly silenced the Italian fans around us.
