3rd November 2006:
Premier of Ecce Cor Meum

Paul MacCartney's new classical work, Ecce Cor Meum, was premiered at the Royal Albert Hall on 3rd November 2006. Given that Rachel is a bit of a fan, and we were living in London at the time, we got ourselves some tickets which, although they weren't cheap, were not as extortionate as seeing Mr M in concert himself.
We took our seats at the back of the stalls with a fairly decent view of the stage. We were rather irritated by a large group of people who only arrived as the lights were going down and seemed to take ages getting into their seats, about 10 rows infront of us. At the end of the first half we realised that in the middle of the group was Macca himself, obviously bundled in at the last minute under the cover of darkness... we let him off.
